For the first time in Nagpur, ambassadors and trade representatives from over 23 countries will take part in the third edition of ‘Advantage Vidarbha 2026 Khasdar Audyogik Mahotsav’, a flagship initiative envisioned by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to promote Vidarbha’s industrial growth on a global platform. The three-day mega industrial expo will be held from February 6 to 8, 2026, at the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University campus on Ambazari–Amravati Road.
The announcement was made by Ashish Kale, President of the Association for Industrial Development (AID), during a press conference on Monday. AID Secretary Dr Vijaykumar Sharma, along with Sanjay Gupta, Prof Rajesh Bagdi, Rajesh Rokde, Shivkumar Rao, Ashok Goyal, Mahesh Sadhwani, Anup Khandewar, Rina Sinha and other executive members, were also present.
The International Business Conclave will be inaugurated on February 7 at 11 am at the university’s main auditorium. This will be followed by country-specific sessions at 5 pm, featuring representatives from South Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, Russia, China and Africa, with discussions centred on trade expansion and investment opportunities.
Kale said the conclave is being jointly organised by AID and the Global Indian Business Forum (GIBF), Delhi. Delegates from countries including Russia, China, Brazil, Egypt, Togo, Guyana, Benin, Uruguay, Nigeria, Zambia and Venezuela are expected to attend. The strong international participation is aimed at providing direct global market access to local entrepreneurs.
Based on the theme *“Empowering Growth”*, the expo will project Vidarbha as a fast-emerging industrial hub on India’s industrial landscape. Entrepreneurs from Nagpur and across Vidarbha will get the opportunity to interact directly with international delegates and explore possibilities to take their products to global markets.
Kale appealed to local entrepreneurs to make full use of this rare opportunity. For more information, interested participants may contact the AID office at Shop No. 82, World Trade Centre, Lower Ground Floor, Glocal Square Mall, Sitabuldi, Nagpur.
