Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) will organise its Inter-Collegiate Youth Festival ‘Yuvarang 2026’ from February 9 to February 13. The festival will provide a platform for students from affiliated colleges to display their talent in dance, music, theatre and literary events.
The festival will begin with a singing competition at Gurunanak Bhavan on Ambazari Road at 10 am on February 9, followed by instrumental music competitions in classical percussion and string categories. A debate competition will be held at 10 am on February 10 at the Jamnalal Bajaj Administration Building.
A short drama competition is scheduled from 10 am to 12 noon at Gurunanak Bhavan. The Fine Arts Department will also conduct competitions in painting, mural painting, clay work, cartoon, collage and rangoli. On February 11, classical dance and lavani competitions will take place at Gurunanak Bhavan.
Folk dance competitions and the award ceremony will be held on February 12. RTMNU Registrar Dr Raju Hiwase and Director of the Student Development Department Dr Vijay Khandal have appealed to students to participate in the events in large numbers.
