National thinker Pushpendra Kulshreshtha to be present
Nagpur, Correspondent —
With the nation’s interest placed above all else, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has been working continuously for the past one hundred years. In 2026, marking the centenary year of the Sangh, the celebrations are being conducted with active participation from all sections of society. With the objective of ensuring that organised and conscientious social forces remain actively engaged in the welfare of the nation, ‘Virat Hindu Conferences’ are being organised across the country.
Based on the threefold principle of individual development, strong organisational systems, and social transformation, the Sangh has dedicated its efforts to national service over the last century. On the occasion of its centenary year, focused efforts are being made through such conferences to promote social harmony, environmental protection, family values, self-awareness, and the observance of civic duties—five key transformative areas aimed at bringing positive change in society.
In continuation of this vision, the Virat Hindu Conference is being jointly organised by the Sakal Hindu Samaj and the Ramdaspeth Citizens’ Mandal on February 13 and 14, 2026, at Lendra Park Ground, Ramdaspeth, Nagpur.
On the first day of the conference, Friday, February 13, a special ‘Bhajan Jamming’ programme will be held from 6.30 pm to 9.00 pm, featuring a unique blend of traditional and contemporary music. Performances by renowned artists Piyush and Rakshanda will be the highlight of the evening.
On the second day, Saturday, February 14, at 7.00 pm, noted national thinker and senior journalist Pushpendra Kulshreshtha will be present as the chief speaker. He will address the gathering on the topic ‘Patriotism and Organisation’. The event will also witness the presence of retired naval officer Shekhar Kelkar, and social activist and physics professor Prof. Dr. Leena Gahane.
Through this programme, the message “Pure and noble intent, welfare of all, and a dignified, harmonious social life—this is true national worship” will be conveyed to all sections of society.
The organisers believe that a united Hindu society can play a decisive role in leading the nation towards becoming a global leader.
The conference is being organised under the guidance of the Ramdaspeth Citizens’ Mandal. The organising committee is working under the leadership of Nikhil Kusumgar as President, with Mukesh Agrawal and Shilpa Rawal as Vice Presidents, Deepak Heda as Treasurer, and Dr. Sanjay Marathe as Secretary.
The organisers have appealed to all patriotic citizens of Nagpur to attend the Virat Hindu Conference in large numbers and contribute to the success of the event.
