The Shri Shirdi Sai Dwarkamai Padyatra Seva Samiti will organise its 22nd annual Nagpur–Shirdi Padyatra and Rath Yatra to mark the Ram Navami festival. The 33-day spiritual journey will commence on February 22, 2026, at 7 am from the Sai Baba Temple in Ayodhya Nagar.
Considered one of Vidarbha’s oldest and most disciplined religious processions, the padyatra will see thousands of devotees dressed in traditional white attire carrying saffron flags and accompanying a decorated chariot of Sai Baba.
The procession will pass through various parts of Nagpur, including Bhagwan Nagar, Chhatrapati Nagar and Wardha Road, before proceeding towards Shirdi via Amravati, Akola and Aurangabad. Throughout the journey, participants will follow a spiritual routine featuring daily aartis, bhajans and kirtans, while visiting several religious shrines along the route.
The padyatra is expected to reach Shirdi on March 24, with the concluding celebrations scheduled for March 27. The event is being led by committee president Rajesh Bagde along with a team of volunteers, who have invited devotees to take part in the annual spiritual pilgrimage.
