Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has announced its women’s netball team for the upcoming All India Inter-University Netball Championship to be held at Krishna University, Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, from February 14 to 18.The selected players representing RTMNU are Ayushi Murkute, Sana Sheikh, Urvashi Farkunde, Krishna Ghule, Snehal Tagde, Akshada Parate, Mitali Ganvir, Sheshanki Borkar, Renuka Kolhe, Chetna Thakur, Kajal Savankar and Sayma Sheikh. The team was chosen based on performance, dedication and competitive spirit.The squad will be accompanied by team manager Prof Anmol Gandhe and coach Topesh Sawarkar, who will guide the players during the championship.
University officials extended their best wishes to the team. Vice-Chancellor Dr Manali Kshirsagar, Registrar Dr Raju Hiwse, Finance and Accounts Officer Harish Paliwal, In-charge Director of Sports Dr Sambhaji Bhosale and Prof Aditya Soni expressed confidence in the team’s abilities and hoped for an impressive performance at the national level.
The university community is hopeful that the team will showcase its talent and bring laurels to RTM Nagpur University.
