Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Actress Sai Tamhankar to Grace the Even Special Arrangements at Laxminagar to Welcome Gudi Padwa and the Hindu New Year
On the occasion of Gudi Padwa, the New Year Greeting Ceremony Committee, Laxminagar, has organized a grand procession and a mass recitation of the Ramraksha Stotra on Thursday, March 19.
The event will begin with a grand procession at 6:00 a.m., starting from Ganesh Temple at Tatya Tope Nagar and proceeding to Laxminagar Square. This will be followed by a mass recitation of the Ramraksha Stotra at 7:30 a.m. at Laxminagar Square.
The grand procession will feature various groups and cultural displays including Akhada demonstrations, Mahabali Hanuman tableau, Hirkani Dhol-Tasha and Lezim troupes, Warkari Bhajan groups, tableaux of Lord Ram, Lakshman, and Sita Mata on horseback, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, South Indian drum performances, Vedic chanting, a Ram Darbar chariot, Mahakal tableau, a special tableau by Rokde Jewellers, the Centenary Rath marking the centenary of the RSS, and tableaux of Khatu Shyam and Tulja Bhavani. In addition, various thematic displays will be set up at key squares along the route. A special attraction will be a flute performance by Arvind Upadhye.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will attend the event as the chief guest, while renowned actress Sai Tamhankar will mark her special presence.
The program is being organized under the guidance of MLA and President of Shri Siddhivinayak Seva Trust, Sandeep Joshi. The New Year Greeting Ceremony Committee members Gajanan Nishitkar, Manoj Deshpande, Prafull Mategaonkar, Jayant Adamane, Shantanu Yerpu?e, Kaustubh Khandekar, Darshan Pande, Manish Jain, Ashish Pusadkar, Neeraj Dontulwar, Amol Watak, Ajay Daga, Deepak Wankhede, Kajal Bagdi, Anusuya Gupta, Anand Tol, Prakash Rathkanthiwar, Pranav Ghugre and others have appealed to citizens to participate in large numbers and celebrate Gudi Padwa and the Hindu New Year with enthusiasm.
