The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in parts of the Mahal area to carry out maintenance and repair work ahead of Ram Navami festivities.
According to officials, electricity supply will be temporarily suspended on Wednesday to ensure uninterrupted service during the festival. The outage is due to repair work on the 11 kV Dakshinamurti line.
Power supply will remain disrupted from 8 am to 12 pm in areas including Kumbharpura, Chitar Oli, Garud Khamb, Badkas Chowk, and the Gajanan Temple ?????.
In addition, electricity will be cut from 10 am to 2 pm in Mahal Chowk, Pustak Bazar Chowk, Kalyaneshwar Temple, Jhanda Chowk, the Sangh Building complex, and Kelibag Road.
Meanwhile, in the Butibori division, power supply in Zone A and Zone B will remain suspended starting from 10 am.
Residents have been advised to make necessary arrangements in advance to avoid inconvenience during the scheduled outage.
