The disciples of Late Shri. Appasaheb Indurkar in collaboration with Chitnavis Centre and Maifil Nagpur have organized a musical concert of young versatile artist, Aditya Modak, an evening dedicated to the memory of the great Guru Late Shri. Appasaheb Indurkar, Music lovers will experience the soulful depths of CLASSICAL MUSIC with a mesmerizing performance by the talented vocalist from Mumbai.
Aditya Modak is a prominent Indian classical vocalist, of the Gwalior Gharana, Modak began his training at age five. He has achieved the Sangeet Alankar and Visharad Purana from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and studied under mentors like Shri Chandrakant Parkar, Shri Pradeep Dhond, and Dr. Ram Deshpande. He was best known for his lead role in the critically acclaimed 2020 film “The Disciple”, directed by Chaitanya Tamhane.
For this concert, he will be accompanied by Shri. Shyam Oza on Harmonium and Shri. Shriraj Tamhankar (Mumbai) on Tabla.
The organizers have appealed all the music lovers to come and enjoy this musical treat, on Saturday, 28th March 2026, 6 PM, at Tamarind Hall, Chitnavis Centre.
