In a move aimed at enhancing air connectivity and accommodating rising travel demand, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur, has announced its summer flight schedule for 2026. The revised schedule, effective from March 29 to October 24, introduces changes in flight timings, frequency, and routes, while also adding new services.
Under the updated schedule, the number of flights and connectivity from Nagpur has increased, offering passengers more travel options. However, timings of several existing flights have been revised, and a few services on select routes have been discontinued.
Changes in Delhi, Mumbai, Indore Routes
As per the new timetable, Nagpur-Delhi will continue to have multiple morning flights between 5:30 am and 11:30 am, but afternoon services have been discontinued. Additionally, the early morning IndiGo flight at 5:30 am has been temporarily suspended. Flights on the Nagpur-Indore route have also been reduced from two to one daily service.
On the Nagpur-Mumbai sector, seven flights will continue to operate daily. However, the late-night service has been cancelled. The first flight will now depart at 5:40 am, while the last flight will be at 10:40 pm. Evening flight timings have also been revised, with some services shifted to the afternoon slot.
Flights to Pune will continue to operate three times daily, though one service has been rescheduled to 3:45 pm. On the Nagpur-Bengaluru route, three daily flights will operate, with one afternoon flight shifted to an evening departure from March 29.
A major highlight of the summer schedule is the introduction of new connectivity. Nagpur will now have three daily flights to Hyderabad—morning, afternoon, and evening services. Additionally, a new direct flight to Kolkata has been introduced, fulfilling a long-pending demand. Nagpur-Kolkata will now have two daily flights, with the new service departing at 9:35 am.
Flights to Ahmedabad will continue to operate twice daily, with only minor timing adjustments. Routes to Kishangarh (Ajmer) and Goa remain unchanged. However, a new flight service has been introduced on the Nagpur-Nanded route, which is expected to benefit passengers from the Marathwada region.
