In a major relief for passengers, the South East Central Railway (SECR) administration has decided to restore several trains that were earlier cancelled at Gondia railway station. The decision has been implemented with immediate effect in the interest of passenger convenience.
The trains were temporarily cancelled due to ongoing engineering work at Gondia station, which involved the removal of a washable apron and its conversion into a ballasted track.
With the work now nearing completion, the trains will resume operations as per their scheduled timetable.
The restored services include:
- 18030 Shalimar–LTT Express: From April 4 to April 24
- 18029 LTT–Shalimar Express: From April 6 to April 26
- 12101 LTT–Shalimar Gyaneshwari Express: From April 4 to April 22
- 12102 Shalimar–LTT Gyaneshwari Express: From April 6 to April 24
Passengers are advised to check the updated train schedules before travelling.
