Eligible candidates aspiring to join the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force as officers are being offered an opportunity to undergo pre-training for the Services Selection Board (SSB) examination. The Government of Maharashtra is organising SSB Course No. 65 at the Pre-Training Centre, Nashik Road, Nashik, for young men and women of the state from May 4 to May 13, 2026. During the course, trainees will be provided free training, accommodation, and meals.
To gain admission to this SSB course, candidates must possess any one of the specified qualifications and are required to carry the relevant certificates at the time of reporting. Applicants must have cleared the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE-UPSC) or the National Defence Academy (NDA-UPSC) and should have received a call letter for the Services Selection Board interview. Alternatively, candidates who have passed the NCC ‘C’ certificate with ‘A’ or ‘B’ grade and have been recommended by the NCC Group Headquarters for SSB are also eligible. Those with a call letter for SSB interview under the Technical Graduate Course or University Entry Scheme are eligible as well, or candidates whose names appear in the SSB recommendation list.
Interested candidates are required to appear for an interview at the District Sainik Welfare Office, Nagpur, on April 30.
