MTDC Tourist Resort at Sakoli open for Visitors from April 10
The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC), which has been consistently working towards promoting tourism in Vidarbha, has opened its tourist resort at Sakoli for visitors. This initiative will give a significant boost to tourism in the Vidarbha region, said MTDC Managing Director Nilesh Gatne.
The tourist resort at Sakoli in Bhandara district was inaugurated virtually from Mumbai on Thursday by Nilesh Gatne. On this occasion, Dinesh Patil, Senior Regional Manager of MTDC’s Nagpur regional office, was present at Sakoli.
The resort had been operated by a private agency under a 10-year agreement since 2014. Following the expiry of the contract, MTDC has decided to operate the facility on its own.
Bhandara district, known as the “district of lakes,” is rich in natural beauty, forests, and religious sites. The Sakoli tourist resort has been equipped with modern amenities for visitors. Bookings are available on the MTDC website, and the facility is open to tourists from April 10.
Dinesh Patil has appealed to tourists to visit Sakoli and take advantage of these facilities.
