NTPC Mouda observed National Fire Service Day on 14 April 2026 with reverence, marking the beginning of Fire Service Week 2026. The inauguration ceremony was led by Shri Joseph Bastian, Head of Project, NTPC Mouda, along with the DC-CISF and AC-CISF of NTPC Mouda. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the GM (O&M), GM (COE), senior officials of NTPC Mouda, and all CISF personnel.
During the inauguration, a Fire Safety Booklet was also launched, highlighting essential preventive measures to mitigate fire hazards and enhance safety awareness.On the occasion, homage was paid to the martyrs, followed by the fire safety pledge and the formal launch of Fire Service Week activities.
During Fire Service Week (14–20 April 2026), a series of awareness programmes, firefighting demonstrations, training sessions, and competitions will be organised to educate employees, students, contractual workers, and the public on fire safety practices.While addressing the gathering on the occasion of National Fire Service Day, Shri Joseph Bastian, Head of Project, emphasized the importance of vigilance and strict adherence to safety protocols to prevent fire incidents.
He also appreciated the proactive role of the CISF Fire Wing in ensuring safety through continuous awareness and preparedness initiatives.The observance reflects NTPC’s unwavering commitment to safety, awareness, and community engagement.
