The much-anticipated trailer for the film ‘Daadi Ki Shaadi’, featuring Neetu Kapoor and Kapil Sharma, was released on Tuesday. Produced by Rtake Studios, BeingU Studios, and Shimla Talkies, this family-centered flick is both written and directed by Ashish R Mohan.
Alongside the two stars, the film also showcases talents like Sadia Khateeb and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who is Neetu’s daughter. According to the production team, ‘Daadi Ki Shaadi’ promises to be a vibrant celebration of family dynamics filled with quirks, chaos, secrets, and unconditional love.
The film is set to hit theaters on May 8, 2026. Fans have eagerly awaited its release since it was first announced last year. Over the past month, Riddhima has been sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses from the set on her Instagram account.
In one heartfelt post, she reflected on her experience working with over 200 crew members during production: “Firsts are always special. Because it’s those very ‘firsts’ that form the blueprint of learnings we will carry for the rest of our lives.” She added that they spent 52 days creating a film filled with warmth and humor.
Riddhima’s co-star Vidhaan Sharma also expressed his appreciation in a recent social media post. He reminisced about their shared moments during filming: “There’s only one thing more precious than our time — that’s who we spend it on,” he wrote warmly.
