Tension prevailed at an HP Gas office in Civil Lines area of Nagpur after angry customers allegedly created a ruckus over non-availability of LPG cylinders amid the ongoing heatwave.
According to reports, a large number of consumers gathered at the office to raise complaints over delays and shortage in cylinder supply. Tempers reportedly flared during the protest, leading to chaos inside the office premises. A video circulating on social media purportedly shows a heated altercation at the office, with claims that a table was thrown towards a woman staff member during the commotion.
The incident triggered panic at the gas agency, while the viral video has sparked concern over public frustration linked to service issues during extreme summer conditions. No official statement from authorities or the gas agency had been issued till the filing of this report.
