The Dr. Hedgewar Smarak Samiti organised a grand felicitation ceremony in Nagpur to honour key contributors associated with the construction of the Ram Mandir Ayodhya. The event was held in the presence of Mohan Bhagwat, Govind Dev Giri Maharaj and Suresh ‘Bhaiyyaji’ Joshi, where architects, engineers, artisans and trustees linked to the temple project were honoured.
Addressing the gathering, Mohan Bhagwat said the Ram Temple was built through collective national effort and called it a symbol of India’s cultural resurgence. Bhaiyyaji Joshi described the temple as a symbol of restoring national pride, while Champat Rai shared key aspects of the temple’s construction and the nationwide contribution behind the project.
Thirty distinguished contributors, including Nripendra Mishra and members of the Sompura family, were felicitated during the ceremony.
Speakers said the event was not just a tribute to the temple’s builders, but also a call to work towards the ideals of Ram Rajya and national upliftment.
