This year’s Class 12 state board results have recorded a noticeable dip in overall percentages. Despite the decline, girls have continued to dominate in Nagpur district across all streams. Aarushi Barapatre in Science, Kunj Bais in Arts, and Arya Rakatsinge along with Sanvi Khandait in Commerce (with equal marks) have emerged as the probable toppers.
In the Science stream, Aarushi Barapatre of Somalwar Nikalas School secured the top position with 97.83%. She was followed by Sagar Rajesh Karikar of MKH Sancheti Public School with 97.17% and Madhura Dani of Santaji College with 96.82%, placing second and third respectively. Other notable performers include Arya Neel (95%) from St. Paul School, Soham Kurve (94.80%) from Shri Convent, and Prashant Sahu (94%) from Shivaji Science College. Dr. Ambedkar College, usually among the top performers, lagged behind in Science this year.
In the Commerce stream, Arya Rakatsinge from SB Adarsh Vidyamandir, Gandhibagh and Sanvi Khandait from GS Commerce jointly secured the top spot with 96.17%. Atithi Shende from Dr. Ambedkar College, Deekshabhoomi scored 96%, while Akshara Jaiswal from Adarsh Vidyamandir secured 95.83%, earning the probable second and third positions. Other high scorers include Krishna Kulkarni (95.50%) from Dr. Ambedkar College and Palak Vinod Dubey (95.33%) from St. Paul School.
In the Arts stream, Kunj Bais from Hislop College topped with 95%, followed by Nandini Khapargade from Adarsh Vidyamandir with 94.17%. Other strong performers include Jaina Tirpude (93.83%), Stuti Mane (92.67%), and Dishita Motwani (91.67%) from Hislop College. Additional notable names are Nirmohi Chendke (90.83%) from RS Mundle College, Khwahish Ravi Nagwani (90.50%) from Mahila Binzani Junior College, Nayan Mate (90.17%), Avani Munglikar (89.50%), and Laxmi Verma (89%) from LAD College.
Overall, this year’s results show a drop in top percentages, with highest scores around 97%, compared to the usual 98–99% range. Girls have once again outperformed boys in the Nagpur division, with their success rate exceeding that of boys by 8%. Except for one male student in the Science stream, the list of toppers across streams is largely dominated by girls.
