MSEDCL has undertaken urgent maintenance, repair, and new pole installation works across various substations under the Mahal and Civil Lines divisions. Due to these technical works, the power supply in several key areas of the city will remain suspended on Tuesday, May 5, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
In the Mahal Division, new poles are being installed on the 11 KV Big Bazar feeder under the Wathoda Distribution Centre. Consequently, power will be interrupted for four hours in Vaishno Devi Nagar Chowk, Central Avenue Road area, parts of Babulban, Ambedkar Chowk, Jagjivan Ram Nagar, Chhapru Nagar, and the Medicine Factory (Davai Karkhana) area.
Similarly, maintenance work will be carried out on the 11 KV Zhingabai Takli feeder in the Civil Lines Division. Residents of Purushottam Bazar, Manasrover, Welcome Society, and Zhingabai Takli will also face a power cut between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
In view of the rising summer temperatures, MSEDCL administration has appealed to citizens to complete their essential chores early in the morning and cooperate with the authorities during this scheduled maintenance period.
