In a major boost for international air connectivity from Nagpur, direct flight services between Nagpur and Doha will resume from September 16. Qatar Airways has already started bookings for the route after receiving approval from the Civil Aviation Authority.
The Doha–Nagpur–Doha service, which had remained temporarily suspended since February 28, is now being restored, bringing relief to passengers travelling to Gulf countries and beyond. The resumption is expected to benefit business travellers, students, and the large number of passengers commuting between central India and the Middle East.According to the schedule, Qatar Airways flight QR 590 will depart from Doha at 10:25 am and arrive in Nagpur at 2:50 am.
The return flight QR 591 will depart from Nagpur at 4:50 am for Doha. The service will operate five days a week — Tuesday to Saturday.Airfare for the route is currently ranging between ₹70,200 and ₹82,889. Earlier fares were between ₹48,000 and ₹65,000, but ticket prices have increased due to rising fuel costs since April 2026.
The restart of the direct international service is expected to save both time and travel expenses for passengers from Nagpur, as they will no longer need to travel to Mumbai or Delhi for international connections. Travellers heading to Europe and other international destinations will also benefit from smoother connectivity through Doha.
