THE members of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) from Nagpur South-West, Nagpur West, and Nagpur South leg-islative assemblies will organise a mega health camp on July 26 to mark the birthday of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, informed Sandip Joshi, former MLC during a press conference on Tuesday.
Joshi, in his address, stated that CM has always discouraged party members from celebrating his birth day in extravagent fashion, installing hoardings but welcomes social works that benefits the citizens. The pro-gramme is organised with inspira-tion of the Chief Minister, said Joshi
The organisers will also hold 75 ward-wise screening camps from July 5 to July 15 for the citizens to undergo total health checkup. All types of diagnosis and tests will be conducted during the screening camps. The citizens who are detect-ed with severe illnesses requiring major surgeries ranging from tre-seract to heart and cancer, will be performed by renowned surgeons from Nagpur, Pune, and Mumbai free of charge, added Joshi. “This is one of the biggest health camps to be ever organised in city and we are estimatingaround ten thousand sur-geries for the citizens,” stated Joshi.
The citizens are required to regis-ter with their local party workers. Eventhough, the programme is organised by units from three assem-blies, citizens from all assemblies are welcome to be part of the health check up camp, informed Joshi.
Ritesh Gawande, Vinod Kanhere, and Vinay Kadu also shared the dais during the press conference.
