How to keep business running in a smooth flow, abide by the laws and do not skip what is asked by your government, suggests Ravindra Agrawal the owner of Gaysons Fashion Mall.
Gaysons being a one stop shop for every child and their schooling accessory needs, since 1981, it even provides materials for home décor and shopping articles required for a baby shower till and after the  day one of its birth.
The shop was started in a 600 sq. ft. area in Sitabuldi on Variety Square by Sham Agrawal and his brothers Mohan and Brijesh Agrawal who had their interest in clothing and fashion statements.
Sham and his brothers had a travelling hobby before entering into the business game, and while these family trips they saw a drastic difference in the fashion sense amongst the other cities and their own, Nagpur. The idea of giving it a start was coined at this moment, when Sham and brothers wanted Nagpur to notice what garment industry is and how trend works in the outside world.
The family members decided to start their own garment shop and make the city introduce to new brand of clothes and fashion sense.
“Gaysons†the word is derived from Gayatri and Sons, who was the mother of all the three brothers and who also gave a strong support to her kids in this upcoming time of introduction to the real life.
The family store by 1995 was expanded to a six thousand square feet market which then provided a variety of brands of the same materials. The shop attracted most of the city crowd and is still preferred by the people in the Era of big shopping malls. By 2013 the Gaysons had a separate mall just for the kids, aiming to provide them a joyful experience while shopping. This shop includes all the schooling accessories, casual wearing, uniforms, toys and many more items for which a parent does not need to switch shops every other material.
By this time the shop was in hands of Ravindra Agrawal who is the son of late Shyam Agrawal, besides him the shop is run by Rahul and Ajay Agrawal who are the sons of Brijesh and Mohan, respectively. Brijesh is still present at the shop and is helping the young one of the family to attend the guest in their shop.
The Agrawal’s are planning on an expansion by 2020 during which the shop will be shifted to World Trade Centre of Nagpur which is located at interchange of the Sitabuldi Maha Metro Station. This shop is aimed to have international brands for adults and give the people of Nagpur few of the new brands that are yet to be introduced in the city.
