Dr. Malti Phadke Postgraduate Anesthesia Quiz was organized by ISA Nagpur recently, where six teams from namely GMC, IGGMC, NKPSIIMS, MGIMS Sewagram, JNMC Sawangi and PDMC Amravati participated in the quiz. All the 6 teams competed fiercely for the coveted trophy.
Dr. Manisha Shembekar, in her welcome address, said that the quiz contests are interesting and introspecting too as we come to know where we stand in the competition and the random knowledge of any participant can be a game-changer.
The judges at the competition were Dr. Pratibha Deshmukh, senior Anesthesiologist and Dr. Shubhda Deshmukh, Professor at NKPSIMS. A team comprising of Dr. Pompy Devraj, Dr. Anuradha Kulkarni
Dr. Bhagyashree Sarda from GMC Nagpur won the trophy while the team from IGGMC comprising of Dr. Adithya S Chiranjeevi, Dr. Aswin R Krishna, Dr. Mahesh Khavare were the runners up. Quizmasters Dr. Ketaki Marodkar and Dr. Deepak Ruparel did a splendid job.
The members also celebrated the election of Dr. C. Cham as Vice President, Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists Maharashtra state in the recently conducted election.
This was the first time that the elections in Maharashtra were held online. Dr. Soma Cham, Secretary proposed the vote of thanks.
