Ruby,  DACSA set up title clash

Ruby Colts and Dr  Ambedkar College Sports Academy (DACSA) entered the final in  Under-19  Cricket Tournament organsied by Vidarbha Cricket Association on Monday.The final between  DACSA  and Ruby Colts will be played on February 24 at  VCA Civil Lines.   Ruby  Colts recorded three wicket win over Nagpur Cricket Academy (NCA). Ayush Sharma (29) and  Aakash Khairba  (27) were main scorers. For Ruby, Govind Pande ( 4/26) was the pick of the bowlers. Dharmendra Thakur (2 for 25) too bowled well.


In reply, Ruby Colts after initial hicups achieved the target losing seven wickets in 41.5 overs. Thanks to Ashit Singh who hammered match winning 60 with the help of eight boundaries. He was ably supported by Ashish Lalwani (47, 6×4).
For NCA Aayush Sharma (3/13), Mehul Raikwar (2/26) and Aryan Hedaoo (2/24) were the main wicket takers.  

At VCA Jamtha, DACSA drubbed Reshimbagh Gymkhana by 107 runs. Batting first DACSA scored 225 all out  in 43.5 overs. Neel Athaley top scored with 57 in 62 balls hitting four boundaries. He was well supported by Vaikunth Doijod (45, 73b, 7×4) and Siddhesh Kantode (24, 53b, 4×4) For Reshimbagh Vrushabh Liche (3 for  43) was main wicket taker  whereas Anut Kale got two for 37.
In reply Reshimbagh lost their wickets at regular interval and were bundled out for a paltry 118 in 35 overs.

Thanks to Siddheshh Kantode who bowled well and captured four wickets for 20 runs. For Reshimbagh, Sandkar Tikde (57) scored half century but in vain. Pushkar Agashe (27) was another main scorer
