A 14-year-old girl was intimidated and raped by Vishal Bhumiyar, a 20-year-old Kapil Nagar resident.
Police said that the accused and the survivor, an eighth-grade kid, both reside in the same neighbourhood. The DJ, Vishal, had been watching the girl for a while.
The accused allegedly invited the girl to his house recently where he sexually exploited her. Vishal further warned the survivor that she would face severe repercussions if she revealed his act to anybody.
The girl’s parents became worried when she didn’t return home for a while. They asked her in private at what point she would like to describe her ordeal.
