Water supply to remain disrupted in areas around Jaitala on June 7 and 8; check the details here

A major water supply disruption has occurred in Nagpur due to a significant error in the 600-meter radius of the main water pipeline. To rectify this issue, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and Orange City Water (OCW) have announced a 16-hour shutdown starting from the night of June 7th (Wednesday) until 2 PM on June 8th (Thursday). The technical shutdown will impact the water supply restoration in the Jaitala region, which is expected to be affected until June 8th (Thursday) afternoon.

The areas affected by this water supply disruption include Jayatala, Ekatmata Nagar, Van Khede Layout, Puja Layout, Nitnavare Layout, Dinesh Bhangre Layout, Woodland Society, Dadaji Nagar, Thakare Layout, and other surrounding areas.

During this shutdown period and even afterwards, affected areas will not be able to avail water supply through tankers. NMC and OCW have requested all citizens in these affected regions to make necessary arrangements for water storage and cooperate during this challenging period.

For more information, citizens can contact the Nagpur Municipal Corporation helpline number 1800 266 9899 or Orange City Water helpline number provided.
