SMHRC & DBASI gets an advanced negative pressure burn unit

Wanadongri’s Shalinitai Meghe Hospital & Research Centre (SMHRC) has launched a state-of-the-art Burn Unit with specially designed negative pressure rooms. These cutting-edge facilities reinforce SMHRC’s dedication to providing the highest level of care for burn patients.

The Burn Unit comprises five negative pressure rooms that create a controlled environment by continuously filtering and releasing air, minimizing the risk of airborne contaminants and infections. Alongside the negative pressure rooms, the unit offers comprehensive services, including a dedicated burn care team led by experienced specialist Dr. Siddharth Mendiratta.

Supported by a qualified Critical Care Unit and advanced OT Complex, the Burn Unit provides a multidisciplinary approach from initial assessment to long-term rehabilitation. Equipped with advanced monitoring systems, ventilators, and life support equipment, the Burn ICU ensures round-the-clock care, with a team of intensivists, psychiatrists, physical therapists, and psychologists supporting patients’ overall well-being. The introduction of negative pressure rooms exemplifies SMHRC’s commitment to patient safety. It underscores its position as a leading healthcare provider in Central India, offering world-class treatment at affordable charges.
