Nagpur continues to reel under extreme heat, recording 44.4°C, with Wardha slightly higher at 44.7°C. Other parts of Vidarbha are also scorched: Brahmapuri topped the charts at 45.6°C, followed by Chandrapur (45.5°C), Akola (45.0°C), and Amravati (44.6°C).
Yavatmal (43.8°C), Gadchiroli (44.6°C), Bhandara and Washim (43.0°C), Gondia (42.5°C), and Buldhana (40.7°C) also remained in the red zone. IMD has issued a heatwave alert for the region.
