The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Students’ Wing held a protest against the Vice Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, demanding the immediate convening of the Academic Council to implement the ‘Carry On’ policy.
Due to errors on the part of the university, thousands of students are being deprived of admission opportunities, seriously affecting their academic future. Despite submitting memorandums on three previous occasions, the administration has failed to take any concrete action, leading to widespread resentment among the students.
Responding to the protest, the Vice Chancellor assured that a meeting of the Academic Council will be held on August 2, 2025, and a positive decision will be considered. He also acknowledged the errors that occurred in the university’s evaluation process and assured that no harm would come to students’ academic interests
