In a vibrant and inspiring ceremony held on July 26, 2025, Vira Babita Parekh and Vir Hemal Kothari were formally installed as the Chairperson and Hon. Secretary of Mahavir International, respectively, for the term 2025–2027. The installation commenced with a solemn prayer, followed by the Annual General Meeting of the Mahavir International Service Trust, where the annual accounts were unanimously adopted.
Outgoing Hon. Secretary Vira Ritika Singhvi initiated the proceedings and presented a detailed report of the Trust’s key service activities. These included:
• Jaipur Foot and Calipers – 983 units distributed
• Artificial LN4 Hands – 150 provided
• Nutritious Meals – daily support to 50 school children
• Baby Kits – 2,000 kits distributed in hospitals
• Poshan Kits – 528 kits given
• Physiotherapy Centre – 11,538 patients benefitted
• Homeopathy Clinic – 887 patients treated
• Concor Health Camps – 8 camps with around 1,200 beneficiaries
• Surgeries – 50 surgeries performed at New Life Hospital
Outgoing Chairperson Vira Sunita Surana welcomed the dignitaries and expressed heartfelt gratitude to all members and donors for their continued faith and contribution to service projects.
The event also witnessed the smooth conduct of elections and the installation of the new leadership team, which includes:

Chief Guest Vir Ajayji Sancheti, former Member of Rajya Sabha and mentor to Mahavir International, commended the exceptional contributions by the outgoing women leadership team. He remarked, “Women have performed extraordinarily well, and they are the ones who can truly lead with compassion and strength.” He extended his best wishes to the new team and urged them to continue the legacy of impactful service.
In her inspiring address, new Chairperson Vira Babita Parekh shared her vision for the future, emphasizing the expansion of the Jaipur Foot and Artificial Limbs initiative and the modernization of the Physiotherapy Centre. She unveiled her slogan for the term:
“Touching Lives, Changing Futures.”
The event was ably compered by Ms. Surbhi Shahlot and concluded with a vote of thanks by Hon. Secretary Vir Hemal Kothari. A soulful musical programme added a graceful finale to the evening. The ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including Mahavir International’s first lady Chairperson Vira Savita Sancheti, making it a truly memorable and historic occasion.
