The Traffic Department of Nagpur City Police has announced that 392 unclaimed vehicles lying at various police premises will soon be auctioned. These include 172 vehicles at the Sonegaon Police Ground and 220 vehicles at the Indora Police Yard, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Lohit Matani.
“These vehicles, which have been lying unclaimed between June 18, 1991, and May 28, 2025, will now be auctioned as per government norms. The complete list of vehicles has been uploaded on the Nagpur Police website,” Matani stated.

DCP Lohit Matani further said, “Citizens or organizations interested in purchasing these vehicles can participate in the auction process. They must submit their applications within seven days to the Traffic DCP Office, Nagpur.”
The auction will be conducted transparently under the supervision of a committee, and the vehicles will be sold to the highest bidders.
