A tragic incident was reported from Amrapali Nagar in Hudkeshwar area, where a young boy, identified as Shivam Bahaikar, was attacked by a group of stray dogs. The sudden assault left the child injured, creating panic and fear in the locality.
According to family members, the stray dogs bit Shivam in nearly 12 to 15 different places on his body, leaving him profusely bleeding and in deep shock. Locals rushed to help the boy before his family immediately shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for urgent treatment.
The incident has raised serious concerns about the growing menace of stray dogs in residential areas of Nagpur. Residents have demanded immediate intervention from civic authorities to control the stray dog population and ensure the safety of children in the city.
