In view of the grand procession to be held in Nagpur city on Thursday, September 4, 2025, on the occasion of “Eid-e-Milad,” traffic restrictions will be in force. The procession will pass through major city routes, which is expected to cause heavy traffic congestion. To ensure smooth traffic management, the city police have announced a temporary ban on the entry of heavy vehicles within city limits.
Accordingly, from 6:00 AM on September 4, 2025, till the conclusion of the Eid-e-Milad procession, entry of all heavy vehicles from Hingna Naka to Nagpur city will remain completely prohibited. Heavy vehicle drivers are instructed to use the Nagpur city outer ring road during this period.
Additionally, heavy vehicles that were permitted within city limits earlier will also be restricted from entering after 6:00 AM on the same day.
Citizens are requested to cooperate with the administration to avoid inconvenience. These measures have been taken to maintain law and order and to ensure smooth conduct of the procession.
