The city came alive with a dazzling blend of art, culture, and elegance as the ‘Intrea’ jewellery exhibition was inaugurated at the Jawaharlal Darda Art Gallery, Lokmat Bhavan. The exhibition, which opened on Saturday, features the exquisite and innovative creations of renowned jewellery designer and Intrea Director Purva Darda Kothari.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr Vijay Darda, Chairman of the Editorial Board of the Lokmat Media Group and former Rajya Sabha member, who lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the auspicious start of the event. The occasion saw the presence of several prominent personalities and dignitaries, adding prestige and glamour to the exhibition.

Among the attendees were Shwetali Thakre, Chairperson and Member (Economics), Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority; Ramakant Khaitan, Chairman, Akola Janata Bank; Hasanraj Saraogi from Jodhpur; Ashok Jain, Director, Lokmat Media Group; Dr Sanjay Darda, Dr Anita Darda, and numerous respected community members including social workers, media professionals, entrepreneurs, and art enthusiasts.

Designer Purva Darda Kothari said the exhibition reflects the harmony of Indian culture with contemporary design aesthetics. “Each piece is not just jewellery; it is wearable art,” she said.
The exhibition will remain open to the public on Sunday, September 28, from 11 am to 8 pm, offering Nagpurians a final chance to explore this exclusive collection.
