10th edition to celebrate Nagpur’s cultural spirit; announced by Hon. Shri Chandrashekhar Bawankule
The Khasdar Sanskritik Mahotsav 2025 will be held from November 7 to 18, continuing the vision of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to promote cultural values and traditions. The announcement was made by Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Maharashtra Revenue Minister, and Guardian Minister of Nagpur district.
The festival’s foundation ceremony took place at Ishwar Deshmukh Physical Education College, Krida Chowk, where Shri Bawankule symbolically dug the ground and performed rituals to mark the beginning of preparations. He stated that the festival is not only a cultural celebration but also a means to foster social values and personality development in society.
Prominent dignitaries present included MLAs Krushnaji Khopde, Mohan Mate, and Pravin Datke, former MLAs Sudhakar Kohle and Milind Mane, BJP City President Dayashankar Tiwari, Prof. Anil Sole (President, Festival Committee), Gourishankar Parashar, Jayprakash Gupta, and Dr. Deepak Khirwadkar.
Minister Bawankule credited Nitin Gadkari for giving Nagpur its new identity as a “Cultural City.” “Thousands of artists have received a platform through this festival, which grows larger every year,” he said.
Now entering its 10th edition, the Khasdar Sanskritik Mahotsav has become a leading national platform for art, literature, music, dance, and heritage. The program was anchored by Renuka Deshkar, while Prof. Rajesh Bagdi proposed the vote of thanks.
