Nagpur: A shocking incident was reported from the Pardi area on Tuesday, October 28, after a man allegedly killed his father during a domestic quarrel and later surrendered himself before the police.
The accused, identified as Pawan Aarmorikar alias Negi, a resident of Bhandewadi, had been in constant conflict with his father over household matters. Police said the two had frequent arguments, one of which turned violent on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. In a fit of rage, Pawan reportedly attacked his father with a sharp-edged weapon, leading to his death on the spot.
After committing the crime, Pawan went straight to the Pardi Police Station and confessed his involvement. The police registered a case of murder under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and took him into custody.
The deceased’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination. Further investigations are underway to determine the precise circumstances that triggered the fatal confrontation.
