Online ticket sales for the India vs New Zealand T20 match in Nagpur will begin on January 17. The Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) will host the first T20I of the “IDFC First Bank T20I Trophy” between India and New Zealand on January 21, 2026, at the VCA International Stadium in Jamtha. This will be the first bilateral T20 match between the two teams to be played at this venue. The last T20 featuring India and New Zealand at Jamtha was during the ICC T20 World Cup in 2016.
Tickets for the general public will be available online through VCA’s official ticketing partner via the mobile app “District by Zomato” and the website district.in.Online sales will start at 10 am on January 17. Each person can book a maximum of two tickets, linked to one mobile number and one email ID. Tickets booked online can be redeemed from January 18 to January 20, between 9.30 am and 8 pm, at Bilimoria Hall, Civil Lines.
Offline ticket sales for VCA Life Members and VCA-affiliated clubs will be held from January 13 to January 15 at VCA, Civil Lines, Nagpur, between 9.30 am and 9 pm. Members must carry their recently issued VCA membership ID cards. One member can also collect tickets on behalf of four other members by producing their membership ID cards.
The New Zealand team will arrive in Nagpur by chartered flight from Indore on January 19, while selected Indian T20 players are also expected to assemble in the city by the same date. The Jamtha Stadium is fully prepared for the match, with free parking and drinking water arrangements in place.
VCA has requested the Nagpur Municipal Corporation to operate additional buses between the city and the stadium. Maha Metro has also been asked to run extra services up to the New Airport Metro Station. From there, VCA will provide shuttle bus services to and from the Jamtha Stadium, including from the VCA parking area near the UltraTech Cement Plant.
