Promoting fitness, fun, and family bonding among children, the Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision (RCNV) will organise the eighth edition of the Nagpur Kidathon at St Ursula High School Ground, near the VCA Stadium in Civil Lines, on January 11, starting at 6.30 am.
The annual event is open to school students aged between 8 and 15 years and has grown into one of the city’s most popular children-focused fitness initiatives. Adding a new dimension this year, RCNV has introduced a 3-km walk category that allows one parent and one child to participate together.
Other categories include a 3-km fun walk for children aged 8–10 years, a 4-km fun walk for those aged 11–13 years, and a 5-km fun walk for participants aged 13–15 years.
All participants will receive a certificate, a colour-coded T-shirt, a goodie bag, and a finisher medal. The route has been carefully planned across the Civil Lines area, with police personnel deployed to ensure the safety of the participants.
Spot registrations will be available at St Ursula High School Ground on January 10 from 1 pm to 8 pm, and on January 11 from 5.30 am to 6.30 am. Nagpur Police Commissioner Dr Ravindra Singal will attend the event as the chief guest.
For further details, interested participants and parents may contact Yogesh Paliwal, Ritika Singhvi, or Amit Chandak.
