Highlighting in detail the opportunities, eligibility criteria, examination process, and preparation strategies for officer-level positions in the Indian Navy, Army, and Air Force, retired Indian Navy officer Capt. Ajay Harolikar provided comprehensive information on the various entry routes into the Indian Armed Forces. He also guided girl students about the benefits, challenges, and responsibilities associated with a career in the armed forces.
A guidance program on career opportunities for girls in the Indian Navy, Army, and Air Force was organized at the Women’s College in Nandanvan. The chief guest for the program was retired Indian Navy officer Capt. Ajay Harolikar. The program was presided over by the institution’s President, Ravindra Fadnavis.
Speaking on the important issue of women empowerment, Ravindra Fadnavis emphasized that students must pursue quality education to achieve financial stability. He stated that economic self-reliance is key to accelerating women empowerment, and therefore students should focus on higher education.
College Principal Dr. Rashtrapal Ganveer highlighted the honour of serving in the armed forces and the significance of the opportunities available in this field.
Prof. Sachin Walde and Dr. Aparna Ghuse were present at the program. Dr. Amit Titare conducted the proceedings and delivered the vote of thanks.
