Eight-day grand spiritual event organised by Art of Living, Nagpur.
Under the guidance of Param Pujya Gurudev Shri Shri Ravi Shankar Ji, Art of Living, Nagpur is organising a Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya by renowned spiritual orator Swami Divyanand Giri Maharaj from 17 to 24 January. The religious discourse will be held daily at 4:30 pm at Amrit Bhavan, Sitabuldi, Nagpur.
The grand yagna will commence on Saturday, 17 January at 8:00 am with a Kalash Shobha Yatra, in which 108 women carrying sacred kalashas will participate. The procession will begin from Hanuman Mandir, Central Bazaar Road, Ramdaspeth, and conclude at Amrit Bhavan. On the same day at 4:30 pm, the ceremony of Kalash Sthapana, Bhagwat Sthapana, and the recitation of Bhagwat Mahatmya will take place, marking the auspicious beginning of the Katha.
During the eight-day discourse, Swami Divyanand Giri Maharaj will narrate major episodes from the Shrimad Bhagwat, including Kapil Avatar, Dhruva Charitra, Narasimha Avatar, Vamana Avatar, Shri Krishna Janmotsav, Govardhan Puja, Rukmini Vivah, and Sudama Charitra.
The Mahayagya will conclude on 24 January at 9:00 am with Bhagwat Homa, Purnahuti, and Mahaprasad.
The patrons of this event are Narayan Dembale, Poonamchand Malu, Rajkumar Chandak, Shyam Agrawal, Sameer Bele, and Vijay Menon. The main organisers include the Dembale–Ramani family, Dayal Mulchandani family, Hanuman Rathi family, Kamwani–Golani family, Nirav Panchmatiya family, Nisha Vyas–Atul Bakshi family, Prashant Kulkarni family, Rishikesh Dongre family, and Vensiyani family.
The organisers have appealed to the citizens of Nagpur to attend this spiritual knowledge yagna in large numbers.
