Two IT companies operating from the MIHAN SEZ are set to expand their operations, creating new employment opportunities and further strengthening Nagpur’s growing IT ecosystem, sources said.
IT firm Virtual Galaxy, currently operating from the Central Facility Building (CFB) at MIHAN SEZ, has expanded its footprint by acquiring an additional 8,000 square feet of office space.
The expansion is expected to generate around 150 new jobs.Interviews for these positions have already been conducted, with preference reportedly given to youth from the Vidarbha region.
Sources said Virtual Galaxy has been operating at MIHAN since September 2025. Following the expansion, the total workforce at its Nagpur facility is expected to rise to approximately 425 IT professionals.
The company has recently received a Letter of Approval (LoA) from the MIHAN SEZ Commissioner’s office for the additional space.
Meanwhile, another IT firm, Essent, which also operates from the CFB, is in the process of securing 8,000 square feet of additional space for its expansion.
Additionally, one more IT company currently functioning at MIHAN has submitted an application seeking approval to expand its operations.
