The 7th Foundation Day of Bal Rangbhoomi Parishad, Nagpur Branch, was celebrated in a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere on Thursday. On this occasion, teams and young artists who achieved success in the preliminary round of the 22nd Maharashtra State Children’s Drama Competition (Nagpur-Wardha center), organized by the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, were felicitated by dignitaries.
Present on the dias were senior theatre personality Ramesh Lakhampure, President of Bal Rangbhoomi Parishad Nagpur Branch Abha Meghe, Working President Sanjay Rahate, Rupali More, and Vilas Kubde.
Rashuddhi Bahuuddeshiya Samajik Shikshan Sanstha, Pratik Theatres Academy, Wardha Bahujan Rangbhoomi, Poddar International School (Katol Road), Nagpur, and Eklavya Yuva Bahuuddeshiya Sanstha, Nagpur were honoured for excellence in theatre production.
Shlok Parve and Nandini Gudekar were felicitated for acting, while child artists Shivanjali Dahatonde, Swara Chinchurkar, Swara Raut, Devshree Nandvanshi, Aarohi Ghakhare, Satvik Shinde, and Mihir Ambolkar received special recognition for earning merit certificates in acting.
Additionally, participants of the ‘Kalavishkar’ workshop organized by the Nagpur branch were awarded certificates.
The program began with a welcome address by Abhatai Meghe, followed by anchoring by Anil Dev. The event commenced with the Bal Rangbhoomi song presented by Dr. Anil Kawade. The vote of thanks was delivered by Rupali More.
The successful organization of the event was made possible with the support of Vaidehi Chavre, Amol Nimbarthe, Prashant Mangde, Yogesh Raut, Anil Kawade, Kishor Battase, Nitin Patrikar, and Aparna Lakhampure.
