A Grand Four-Day exibition by Nataraj Art and Cultural Centre
Nataraj Art and Cultural Centre, under Dharampeth Education Society, is organizing the annual art exhibition ‘Lok Chitrarth 2026’ from March 31 to April 3. The exhibition will showcase artworks by students from various disciplines such as painting, sculpture, and advertising art. Live demonstrations will also be conducted as part of the event.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on Tuesday, March 31, at 4:30 PM by Padma Shri awardee and senior artist of the Zhadipatti theatre, Parashuram Khune. The inauguration ceremony will be graced by the presence of Adv. Ulhas Aurangabadkar (President, Dharampeth Education Society), Suresh Dev (Secretary), Adv. Sanjeev Deshpande (CDC, Nataraj Art and Cultural Centre), and Principal Dr. Ravindra Haridas.
On Wednesday, April 1, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, Rashmi Shevat will conduct a portrait painting demonstration. On April 2, Prof. Tushar Raut will deliver a presentation on digital media. Additionally, on April 3, demonstrations on portrait, sketching, and sculpture will be conducted by Harsh Pakhle, Shraman Malve, Yogesh Savarkar, and Harshad Chikne.
The exhibition will conclude on April 3 at 4:30 PM in the presence of Dr. Kishor Ingale, Director of Art, Maharashtra State Directorate of Art. Dr. Kavita Hole, Dean of the Sanskrit Department at Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek, will also be present as a special guest.
