The National Institute of Swimming on Manewada-Besa Road is set to organise a summer swimming coaching camp starting April 6 at Dolphin Swimming Academy.
The camp will provide training for both beginners and advanced swimmers under the guidance of expert coaches certified by the Sports Authority of India.
Open to participants of all age groups—from toddlers aged 2 years to senior citizens—the programme also includes a special module titled ‘Dolphin Discovery’ for children below 7 years. The initiative aims to introduce young learners to swimming at an early stage, said Dr Jaiprakash Duble, former Joint Director of Sports, Government of Maharashtra and an international swimming coach.
The training will focus on swimming techniques, water safety, and life-saving skills, along with providing insights into international competitions, government schemes, and facilities available for swimmers.
The camp will be coordinated by Jayant Duble, a Shiv Chhatrapati awardee, international swimmer, and certified coach with the Sports Authority of India.
Interested individuals can contact Dolphin Swimming Academy at the National Institute of Swimming between 5 pm and 9 pm for registration and further details.
