The world-renowned Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath will be celebrated at Jagannath Temple, Radhanand Nagar, Manewada Road, with month-long religious festivities beginning on June 29.
The celebrations will commence with Deva Snana Purnima on June 29 and conclude with Niladri Bije on July 27. The festival schedule includes several important rituals, including Anasara Niti, Netra Utsav, Nava Yauvana Darshan, Gundicha Rath Yatra on July 16, Hera Panchami, Bahuda Yatra, Suna Besha, and Adhara Pana.
All rituals will be performed by learned priests from Puri Shrikhetra, Odisha, in accordance with the traditional customs followed at Puri Dham.
The temple authorities have appealed to devotees, volunteers, government officials and members of various organisations to actively participate and extend their support for the successful conduct of the festival. They said the Rath Yatra Mahotsav is being organised for the welfare and well-being of humanity and invited devotees to attend the celebrations with their families.
