The Robin Hood Army is a volunteer based zero-funds organization that works to get surplus food from restaurants and the community to serve less fortunate people.
Robin Hood Army serves the lesser fortunate sections of society along with homeless families, orphanages, patients from public hospitals, and old age homes.
In country like India hunger is lot more than just missing a meal. Do you know? Around 20 crore people in our neighborhood, within India will sleep empty stomach tonight. And it’s just their misfortune that they aren’t accessible to even two squares of meals, while 40% of grains we produce go to waste.
RHA is making efforts to make India a hunger free country. They are serving in more than 103 cities and ensuring that no person goes to sleep with an empty stomach.
This independence day RHA is coming up with yet another innovation idea i.e. #Mission5. Under this initiative the volunteers of the organization are going to feed 5 million needy people around the world in just a 5 day’s time.
The robins have urged the Nagpurians to be a part of this noble cause by contributing in any form. The objective behind this drive is to bridge the gap between the food and the needy.
Robin Hood Army Nagpur has searched for 5 villages which are in dire need of the grains and education. The team has decided to donate the grains to these villages under the #Mission5 drive which is going to take place on August 10 and 11, 2019.
