The rise and drop in daily COVID-19 cases continues as the second capital of the state reported 224 fresh cases on February 2. In the day, 6 people succumbed to the infection. After todays count, the cumulative number of positive cases reached to 134716.
From the total 4171 deaths so far, 744 deaths are from the city, 2726 from rural and rest 701 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 3146 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
Also, 327 persons became free of the infection in the day taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 137299 (including 68867 home isolation recoveries). After today’s update the recovery rate stands at 94.57%.
Today’s 224 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
AIIMS (09), GMC (26), IGGMC (03), MAFSU (03), NEERI (27), RTMNU (31) Private Lab (96) and Antigen (29).
