Another former minister Praveen Pote has been arrested in connection with riots in Amravati. So far Amravati police have arrested ten persons for participating or instigating riots in Amravati that erupted on Friday.
Earlier former minister Dr Pravin Bonde was held by the police in this connection.
Pote is charged of participating in the morcha, which turned violent. Police are suspecting riots in many parts of the state. Restrictions on movement and gathering of people are being imposed in many cities of the state.
