Responding to rising passenger demand, Western Railway has introduced a temporary halt at Valsad station for the Mumbai-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat Express, improving connectivity for South Gujarat commuters.
According to a media report, from July 27, train number 20902 Gandhinagar Capital–Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express will stop at Valsad, arriving at 5:51 pm and departing at 5:53 pm. To accommodate this change, the train will now depart from Gandhinagar at 2:00 pm instead of 2:05 pm.
Similarly, from July 28, train number 20901 Mumbai Central–Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express will also stop at Valsad, arriving at 8:19 am and leaving at 8:21 am.
As a result of this new stop, timings at major stations such as Surat, Vadodara, Anand, and Ahmedabad have been revised for both trains.
