With the Class 10 and 12 board examinations set to begin on February 17, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rolled out its annual psycho-social counselling support programme for students.
The initiative offers a three-tier support system comprising a 24×7 toll-free IVRS helpline, tele-counselling services, and digital resources available on the CBSE website.
According to CBSE officials, the programme aims to help students cope with examination-related stress. The IVRS helpline provides tips for stress-free exam preparation, answers to frequently asked questions, and important CBSE contact details. Through tele-counselling, students and parents can speak directly with a panel of 73 trained counsellors, including teachers from CBSE-affiliated schools and qualified psychologists.
In addition, CBSE has made curated digital resources on stress management, effective study techniques and emotional well-being available at www.cbse.gov.in. These resources are designed to be concise, engaging and easily accessible for students preparing for their board examinations.
