A 20-year-old engineering student was allegedly stabbed to death by two minors following a road rage dispute over a bike “cut” in the Gokulpeth area under Ambazari police limits.

He invited them for biryani in Mominpura, but after they declined, he went with Raj and Aryan to Gokulpeth for ice gola.At Laxmi Bhavan Square, Tushar reportedly got into a brief argument with two minors riding an Activa scooter after they allegedly cut across his bike. Though the matter appeared to be resolved and both sides left, they crossed paths again on West High Court Road, where another argument erupted after the groups allegedly stared at each other.
During the altercation, Tushar allegedly slapped one of the minors, enraging them further. One of the accused then reportedly pulled out a knife and attacked him.Aryan fled from the spot, while Tushar also tried to escape. Ambazari police swiftly detained both minors and registered a murder case.Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused were allegedly roaming under the influence of intoxicants and had criminal tendencies. Police also found that the knife used in the attack was reportedly purchased online, raising concerns over easy access to weapons.
Notably, personnel from the Crime Branch’s Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances team and the Quick Response Team were present nearby during the incident, yet the accused managed to carry out the attack.Tushar is survived by his parents and younger sister. His family remains in deep shock after the incident.
